MEET MS. SOUHA BAWAB
Souha is particularly interested in helping with:
Depression and mood fluctuations
Difficulties resulting from loss or traumatic experiences
Relationship issues
Souha works with adults who are experiencing emotional difficulties and struggling to cope with life’s challenges. She believes that at the root of every psychological problem are painful emotions and negative patterns of thinking that contribute to unhelpful coping strategies while also undermining personal values and goals.
Souha helps clients achieve their goals by providing a safe environment to discover what is creating their emotional distress, and how to address their “stuck points”. She tailors her work to clients’ needs using CBT and other empirically-supported treatment approaches.
Souha has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and has worked in both hospital and residential settings treating mental health difficulties and addictions via individual and group psychotherapy. Souha has co-authored several publications in scientific journals and acted as a Course Instructor at the American University of Beirut.
