Deanna Klymkiw is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Clinical Psychology Program at Ryerson University. She is deeply invested in the work she does with adolescents and adults to empower them to live better.
Deanna’s therapeutic strengths include her passion, empathy, and authenticity. She helps clients primarily using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, while also incorporating elements of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, depending on her clients’ needs.
Deanna has a broad range of assessment and therapy experience with adults and youth during her previous clinical placements at St. Michael’s Hospital, Roy McMurtry Youth Centre, and Syl Apps Youth Centre.
Deanna is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association.
