Dr. Hoyos has a particular interest in helping with:

Dr. Santiago Hoyos provides assessments and counselling to adults, offering services in both English and Spanish.

In his work with clients, Santiago draws from several empirically-supported approaches, including mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (mCBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational psychotherapy, and Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT).

Santiago completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Medaille College in Buffalo, where he had previously earned a Maters’ degree in Psychology. He has worked for the John Howard Society of Niagara and the District School Board of Niagara. He has also held clinical positions at Pathstone Mental Health, at Dr. Andrea Miller & Associates, and at Brookside Psychologists.
