Dr. Chris Parrish is a Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with adults, adolescents and couples looking for guidance and support while navigating life’s inevitable struggles.
He views therapy as a means of helping clients build on their existing strengths while discovering new tools and resources that promote increased self-awareness, improved coping and enhanced quality of life.
A specialist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dr. Parrish also employs Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches when appropriate. In a warm and collaborative style, he tailors therapy to each client’s individual needs and goals.
Dr. Parrish received his Ph.D. in psychology from Concordia University. He is a founding and accredited member of the Canadian Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (CACBT), and is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Ontario Psychological Association and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
