Dr. Chris Parrish

Chris Parrish is a Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with adults, adolescents and couples looking for guidance and support while navigating life’s inevitable struggles.  Dr. Parrish has special interests in helping with:
– Fear, anxiety and worry 
– Marital counselling and relationship issues
– Life direction guidance for emerging adults
Giovanni Foti is a Clinical & Forensic Psychologist who works with Children, Adolescents & Families.  He enjoys helping with:
– Psycho-Educational Assessments 
– Behaviour management training for parents
– Counseling youth engaged in high risk behaviours (i.e. self-harm and unlawful acts)

Dr. Susan Sergeant

Susan Sergeant works with adults and adolescents seeking assistance and support in dealing with stressors and other day-to-day challenges. She  is particularly interested in working with individuals dealing with:
– Low mood, depression
– Fear, anxiety, and worry
– Difficulties related to traumatic experiences

Dr. Barbara Morrongiello

Barbara Morrongiello is a Clinical Psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Guelph. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. She is particularly interested in helping to address:

– Health-related issues (e.g., stress; coping with illness, eating disorders…)

– Parent-child relationships, parenting effectiveness & behavior management

– Social and emotional issues affecting youth

Dr. Tanya Zhao

Tanya Zhao works with children, adolescents, and their families to help support them through the transitions and changes that all families encounter. Tanya enjoys helping with:

– Anger management and emotion regulation

– Anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family relationships

– Comprehensive psycho-educational assessments/evaluations

-Treatment for children/youth who have endured trauma/abuse 

Dr. Marianne O’Byrne

Marianne O’Byrne enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples who are struggling to cope with a variety of life stressors and challenges. She particularly enjoys helping with:

– Anxiety, depression, and relationship issues

– Prenatal and postpartum transition difficulties, including birth trauma, grief and loss

– PTSD and other difficulties related to traumatic experiences

Eva Muharib

Eva Muharib, PhD Candidate, works with adults who are struggling to cope with stressful life experiences and distressing emotions.  Eva is particularly interested in working with individuals dealing with:

– Fear, anxiety, and worry (including OCD)

– Post-traumatic stress (PTSD) and other difficult life experiences

– Chronic pain and adjustment to illness

Neeta Patni

As Clinic Coordinator, Ms Patni handles a range of administrative responsibilities which include responding to general inquiries about our Centre and its clinicians, liaising with referring physicians, and scheduling appointments for new clients. Ms Patni will assist you in determining which of our Psychologists best suits your needs.

A graduate of the U of T Master of Social Work program, Ms Patni has worked with both adults and children struggling with a variety of life challenges. As your first point of contact at The MLC, she is committed to handling inquiries with sensitivity, respect, and an assurance of confidentiality.
